Cico P Drops His ‘NawfJaxx’ project + “Dirty” Video w/ Maxo Kream

Rising East Texas rapper Cico P is taking us to his hometown of north Jacksonville, TX (aka NawfJaxx) on his new project which is out now. Cico focuses on relaying tales of his upbringing and showcasing his hometown, a small town outside of Dallas, in videos for “See Me” and “Boogieee.” With his deep Texas drawl, his sound bridges between Southern hip hop and SoundCloud trap with a heavy touch of melody as he weaves together his fire bars and autotuned vocals. He makes it known that he’s a hometown hero with quick, high energy bars on “Survivor” with Yella Beezy and then he slows it down for the ladies on the sensual “Half The Time” with Kevin Gates — definitely check these out if you’re looking for either of these vibes. Cico made sure this project’s features were Southern on all fronts! Along with Beezy and Gates, Cico also connected with Spinabenz who is from Jacksonville…Florida (not to be confused with NawfJaxx!) for their “Prophecy” track.

Cico even linked up with Maxo Kream to drop a new video for their lowkey, ominous, “Dirty” collab. In true Texas fashion, the two Texas natives spit menacing bars over an ethereal piano and 808-led beat as they mob in a parking lot while their cars do hydraulics behind them.
