YouTube Originals Announces Next Installment of Vox and Vox Media Studios’ Series ‘Glad You Asked’

YouTube Originals today revealed the official trailer for the next installment of season two episodes for the Emmy-nominated series “Glad You Asked.” The episodic series from Vox and Vox Media Studios will premiere five new topical episodes examining the intersection between health and social issues more broadly, for free weekly beginning Wednesday, July 28th on the Vox YouTube channel. YouTube Premium subscribers will have access to all five episodes on July 28th.

“Glad You Asked” is an ensemble-led exploration of topics driven by our curiosity about the world around us. Using Vox’s signature explainer format, the next five episodes  for season two examine a broad range of timely topics such as, Do I want kids?, Why can’t we sleep?, Is city noise making us sick?, Is therapy for everyone?, and How should doctors consider race?. Season two’s hosts Fabiola Cineas, Lee Adams, Cleo Abram, Joss Fong and Christophe Haubursin are back with the world’s foremost experts to offer an experiential journey that will empower audiences to better understand their world while demonstrating various social experiments.

The first five episodes of season two, which premiered earlier this year, investigated questions around racial justice and the impact of systemic racism in our communities and daily lives. Topics including implicit bias, how our neighborhoods determine our futures, race and A.I., education inequity and the impact of racism on our bodies, were all analyzed by the five hosts and experts. Season two, episodes one through five can be viewed on the Vox YouTube channel.

“Glad You Asked” is executive produced by Joie Jacoby, Emily Anderson, Joe Posner, Chad Mumm and Mark W. Olsen for Vox and Vox Media Studios. Dana J. Olkkonen and Mona Lalwani are co-executive producers for Vox and Vox Media Studios. The series is produced by Vox Media Studios and YouTube. Susanne Daniels is Global Head of Original Content for YouTube.
