20 Recommended Cocktail Recipes For October 2021 & Beyond

Fall 2021 is now underway with the 2021 Holiday Season just around the corner. On behalf of The Hype Magazine, I have rounded up 20 recipes for mixed drinks from top brands and acclaimed mixologists, as featuring a variety of high-quality spirits, some of which only requiring a handful of ingredients.
Espresso Martini

Ingredients:
– 1 part Finlandia Classic Vodka
– 1/4 part simple syrup
– 1 part espresso
– Glassware: Martini glass
Method:
– Add ingredients into a Martini glass.
– Shake and pour into glass.
– Enjoy.
Findlandia Redpresso Martini

Ingredients:
– 1 part Finlandia Raspberry
– 1 part Espresso
– 0.5 part simple syrup
– Glassware: Martini glass
– Garnish: 3 coffee beans
Method:
– Add ingredients into a Martini glass.
– Add garnish last.
– Enjoy.
Gold Fashioned
Ingredients:
– 2 oz ABERFELDY 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
– 1/2 oz Local Honey Syrup (honey syrup = 1 part honey, 1 part water)
– 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
– 2 dashes Orange Bitters
– Garnish: Orange Twist
– Glass: Rocks
– Ice
Method:
– Add the local honey syrup, bitters and ABERFELDY 12 year old to a mixing glass.
– Add ice and stir to dilute for approximately 30 seconds.
– Pour into a rocks glass and add block ice
– Garnish with an orange twist expressing the oils over the drink.
Vampires Of Perthshire
Ingredients:
– 2 oz ABERFELDY 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
– 1/4 oz Apple Cider Syrup
– 1/4 oz Averna
– 2 dashes Orange Bitters
Method:
– Add all ingredients to a glass and stir.
– Express oil of an orange peel and garnish.
– Enjoy.
Seabird Cocktail
Ingredients:
– 2 oz Mount Gay Black Barrel
– 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
– 0.75 oz Pineapple Syrup or Pineapple Juice
– 0.75 oz Bitter Aperitivo
– Garnish: Pineapple
– Ice
Method:
– Add all ingredients to your tin, add ice and shake.
– Strain over ice.
– Garnish with pineapple.
Banana Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
– 2 oz Mount Gay Black Barrel
– 0.5 oz Banana Syrup
– Optional Garnish: Orange Peel
– Ice
Method:
– Add all ingredients, including expressed peel, to a glass.
– Add ice and stir.
– Option to garnish with fresh orange peel.
Salted Caramel Espressotini
Ingredients:
– 0.75 oz Whiskeysmith Salted Caramel Flavored Whiskey
– 1 oz Nooku Bourbon Cream
– 1 oz Cold Brew
– 0.5 oz Vodka
– 1 dash of Angostura Bitters
– 1 Orange Peel
– Ice
– Garnish: Ground Espresso
Method:
– Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
– Shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
– Double strain into a chilled coupe cocktail glass.
– Garnish with ground espresso.
“PSC” Pineapple Spiced Cider
Ingredients:
– 1.5 oz Whiskeysmith Pineapple Flavored Whiskey
– 0.25 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
– 4 oz Hot Spiced Cider
– Garnish: Spiced Apples, Cloves
Method:
– Combine all ingredients except garnishes in a cocktail shaker with ice.
– Shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
– Double strain into a chilled coupe cocktail glass.
– Garnish with ground espresso.
Caramel Macchiato
Ingredients:
– 2 oz. Disaronno Velvet
– 2 oz. Vanilla Vodka
– 1 oz. Tia Maria Cold Brew
– 2 Scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
– Garnish: Caramel
Method:
– Add Disaronno Velvet, Tia Maria Cold Brew and Vanilla Vodka to a blender with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. – Blend together.
– Garnish with a caramel drizzle and enjoy with a straw.
Disaronno Velvet Frappé
Ingredients:
– 1.75 oz. Disaronno Velvet
– 0.75 oz. Tia Maria Cold Brew
– 0.25 oz. Coconut syrup
– 1 shot of Espresso
– 3 oz. Milk
– Garnish: Amaretti crumble or other cookie
– Ice
Method:
– Fill a cocktail shaker with all the ingredients and shake vigorously.
– Pour the cocktail into a large coffee glass using a strainer.
– Garnish with an Amaretti crumble or one of your favorite cookies.

Minke Gin & Tonic
Ingredients:
– 1/3 Minke Irish Gin
– 2/3 Tonic Water
– 4 Large Ice Cubs
– Garnish: 2 Slices Of Lemon or Lime, Mint Leaf
Method:
– Fill a glass with 4 large ice cubes.
– Pour 1/3 Minke Irish Gin.
– Add 2/3 tonic.
– Add 2 slices of lemon or lime and garnish with a mint leaf.
Minke Martini
Ingredients:
– 2 oz Minke Irish Gin
– 3/4 oz Blanc Vermouth
– 1/2 oz Amontillado sherry
– 3 drops Sarsaparilla Bitters
– Glass: Nick & Nora
– Garnish: Lemon Zest
– Ice
Method:
– Combine Minke Gin, Vermouth and Sherry in a mixing glass and stir with ice.
– Strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass.
– Add a few drops of Sarsaparilla Bitters to the surface of the drink
– Garnish with lemon zest.

Wise Chai Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
– 2 oz The Wiseman Bourbon
– 0.5 oz Chai Syrup
– 2 dashes of Aromatic Bitters
Apothic Sour Pour Over
Ingredients:
– 1 bottle of Apothic Red Wine
– 2 oz The Wiseman Bourbon
– 1 oz Lemon Juice
– 1 oz Simple Jyrup
– Ice
– Optional Garnishes: Lemon peel or Amarena dark cherries
Method:
– Combine 2 ounces bourbon, 1 oz of lemon juice, and 1 oz of simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
– Shake until cold and strain into glass over rocks.
– Float 1/2 ounce Apothic Red over back of bar spoon onto the sour’s surface.
– Garnish with a lemon peel and an Amarena dark cherry to really take it over the top.
CÎROC Pomegranate Soda Spritz
Ingredients:
– 1.5 oz CÎROC Pomegranate
– 5 oz Club Soda
– Glassware: Wine
– Garnish: Pomegranate Seeds, Rosemary Sprig
– Ice
Method:
– Add CÎROC Pomegranate and club soda to a wine glass with ice.
– Garnish with pomegranate seeds and a rosemary sprig.
– Enjoy.
CÎROC Pomegranate Passion
Ingredients:
– 1.5 oz CÎROC Pomegranate
– 4-5 oz Cranberry Juice
– Glassware: Highball
– Garnish: Lime Slice
– Ice
Method:
– Add all ingredients to a highball glass filled with ice.
– Gently stir and garnish.
– Enjoy.
Proper Lemonade
Ingredients:
– 1 part Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
– 4 parts Lemonade
– Ice
– Garnish: Lemon Slice
Method:
– Fill glass with ice.
– Add Proper No. Twelve and lemonade.
– Garnish with a slice on lemon.
– Enjoy.
Proper Peaches
Ingredients:
– 2 parts Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
– 1/2 part simple syrup
– 1 peach, diced
– 3-4 mint leaves
– Splash of soda water
– Glass: Rocks
– Garnish: Mint Leaves, Peace Slice
– Ice
Method:
– Muddle peaches, simple syrup and mint leaves in a shaker.
– Add Proper No. Twelve and fill shaker with ice.
– Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Top with a splash of soda water.
– Garnish with mint leaves and a peach slice

Ranch Hand
Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 oz Frey Ranch Bourbon
– 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
– 1/2 oz Honey Syrup
– Dash Aromatic Bitters
– Glass: Rocks
– Garnish: Lemon Peel
– Ice
Method:
– Build all ingredients and shake with ice.
– Strain into a chilled rock glass.
– Garnish with a fresh lemon peel.
Nevada Buck
Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 oz Frey Ranch Bourbon
– 1/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
– 3 oz Fever Tree Spiced
– Orange Ginger Ale
– 2 dashes of Aromatic Bitters
– Glass: Double Old Fashioned
– Garnish: Orange Slice
Method:
– Build all ingredients over ice in a double Old Fashioned glass.
– Stir.
– Garnish with orange slice.
– Enjoy.
