0Hannah Storm On The NFL On Amazon Prime, Future Projects, Her Rock DJ Past & Van Halen
From the early season division rivalry game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams, to the mid-winter battle between the Green Bay Packers and the Cleveland Browns, Amazon Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football has proven to be THE hot ticket for football fans this season. Announcers Andrea Kremer and Hannah Storm are back in the booth for the fourth straight season as they continue to make history as the first female duo to call NFL games. With decades of experience as storytellers, the Storm-Kremer feed brings a unique voice and viewpoint to every game.
NFL broadcasting aside, Hannah Storm is an award-winning journalist, producer and director via Brainstormin’ Productions, beyond being a published author, an advocate for children suffering from debilitating vascular birthmarks via the Hannah Storm Foundation, and a mother of three. Storm joined ESPN in 2008 and currently serves as an ESPN SportsCenter anchor. She previously hosted and executive produced ESPN’s primetime interview specials In Focus With Hannah Storm and Face To Face With Hannah Storm, where she interviewed various newsmakers in sports. Prior to ESPN, Storm had a successful TV stint at CBS as host of The Early Show, beyond work with CNN and NBC Sports.
On September 29, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Hannah Storm via Zoom, as embedded below. Beyond the NFL on Amazon Prime Video, we spoke about Storm’s other projects, her past as a rock radio DJ and Van Halen; the Van Halen discussion was coincidentally just days prior to original Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth announcing his retirement from performing live. More on Storm and her work with Amazon Prime can be found by clicking here, here, here, here and here.
