Roc Nation Artist Bobby Fishscale Unveils EP Project ‘The Evolution’

Hailing from Quincy, Florida, rising hip-hop artist, Bobby Fishscale has debuted the release of EP project The Evolution, which includes collaborations with Quavo, Juicy J, DJ Paul, Mozzy and more.

The highly-anticipated 8 track project features three standout singles released earlier this year: “Role Models” which delivers powerful lyrics about growing up with no one to look up to and chasing one’s dreams; “Make it Snow” in which Bobby flexes his successes showcased through his effortless flow; and “Own Eyes” which blends melodic vocals from Ink and rhythmic bars to tell the story of young troubled adulthood and taking autonomy of your future. The EP will also include an explosive new collaboration with Quavo on “Huncho Fishscale” which gives a glimpse into life from the streets and their long-held hustle holding it down for their family above all. Rapped over the low toned beats and flutes, both artists tell fans that no matter how high their rise in fame, they will always remember where they come from.

“To me, this project tells the story of the evolution of my career and my music,” said Bobby. “I get to share with my fans the story growing up, the hustle that’s gotten me to where I am today, and what the world can expect next.”

The release of The Evolution comes after Bobby’s performances on the DTLR Tour alongside some of the country’s up-and-coming next-generation stars at Historically Black Colleges and Universities throughout the nation.

The Evolution is Bobby’s second full EP release following his 2020 EP The Last Re-Up and mixtapes, Super Fishy, and Da Relapse, marking the artist’s continued journey in elevating both his sound and growth in his musical career – which first blossomed with a street hustle handing out his tapes out of the trunk of his car in local Florida neighborhoods.

Bobby was awarded the BMI R&B and Hip Hop Social Star Award just last year, joining previous winners such as the late Mac Miller, Machine Gun Kelly, Zendaya, Joey Bada$$, NLE Choppa and more. Bobby started making waves with his track “Hov Flow,” that sampled JAY-Z and Eminem’s “Renegade” beat in 2019 before debuting his first mixtape – Big Fish – that same year which exploded into a record label bidding war that concluded with his signing to Roc Nation.
