Wesca Releases Mixtape, Highlighting the Impact of the Global Pandemic

The global pandemic has made life very difficult for many people, which has profoundly impacted music. Music has always been a form of escape and solace, but with so many people struggling and feeling isolated, it’s no wonder that songs with poignant lyrics have become popular.  It’s a reflection of the state of the world, but more importantly, it’s a lot more than that. The significance of music to society is indisputable. It’s an expression of the soul, which can move people through that. Perhaps in a time like this, words have added to the strength of the message emerging from artists like Wesca.

Music is an emotional outlet and provides people with a form of release. In the same way, that films, books, and theatre have seen a rise in dark, deep, and complicated themes, so has music.

Several artists have profoundly affected our society by voicing their thoughts and feelings about the state of current affairs, either through their public comments or through their music.

Artist Wesca influenced by today’s world is an artist who feels people’s emotions. He expressed his feelings through his Mixtape, World on Fire. He describes the album as a collection of songs that he hopes can pull people together in times like these to show them that there are people who are feeling their pain too.

Intense beats and dark melodies drive the music. However, the infectiousness of the piece is what makes it such a powerful tool. With so much negativity surrounding us, it’s no wonder more and more music stars have been tackling topics such as politics and the environment through their music.

World on Fire is an album that can help people appreciate someone else’s struggles.

The artist hopes that through his music, he will be able to give people a gentle reminder of the challenges and setbacks faced by millions of others.

His songs, On fire, Better days, Now or never, redemption, and Wassup reflect the dark reality of the calamity afflicting our world today. But, with that said, he recommends that listeners of this album should use this as an outlet for their thoughts and feelings. Looking back at his album, Wesca says, “the most important thing I would want people to take away from this album is that it shows how we can’t become numb to what this world has become.”

He believes music can bring people together. He hopes that this album can help people who have a different perspective on the world, who may not feel as isolated as others. This album is available on apple music.
