The 2021 Holiday Season is now underway, and it is never too late to order a holiday gift or just have a great gift in the hopper for a future gift-giving occasion. Below are timely 31 gift ideas — all immediately available for online-based ordering — of varying price points worth looking into today.

Hydro Flask

Another excellent discovery of mine from this year’s Gotham Gets In Gear event, simply put, Hydro Flask makes double wall vacuum insulated stainless steel water bottles backed by a lifetime warranty. Its excellent temperature retention is said to be due to its proprietary TempShield technology, as said stainless steel prevent condensations and heat transfer to the outside of the bottle, keeping drinks hot or cold for hours on end. Available in a variety of sizes — the growler size is not its biggest — and colors, I foresee taking my new Hydro Flask on the sand in Long Beach for many summers to come.

L’OR Espresso

Created in France in 1992, L’OR’s ambition has always been “to offer the best coffee in the world.” In 2010, L’OR expanded beyond the French borders with the launch of L’OR Espresso, which is reportedly the first coffee capsule compatible with Nespresso original coffee machines. 7 L’OR blends are now available in U.S. via lorespresso.us and Amazon. In other words, you have top-notch, widely-compatible coffee products you can easily find online.

SnoShark

SnoShark aims to be the last tool you will ever need for winter car care. It is a heavy-duty, durable yet lightweight snow removal tool made with high-grade aluminum, zinc alloy and stainless steel parts that are built to last. The anti-freeze nylon paddle can withstand severe temperatures and the EVA foam assists the paddle in gliding through the snow while protecting your finish. SnoShark extends to 2 locking positions for easy cleaning yet collapses down to a compact size for convenient storage. Also available on Amazon and retailers nationwide.

Hi-Jack

Hi-Jack offers a smart way to hide and make use of your unsightly wall jacks. The patented bracket/decor design takes seconds to install, and it includes a frame, shelf and hook. It is great for hanging bags, pet leashes, keys, eyeglasses, masks and more. Ultimately it is a simple, smart, useful and fun product that beats the price of removing the phone jack. Hi-Jack fits on most jacks and it easily slides over the bracket. No jack? Hi-Jack will still work. Just screw the bracket into any wall.

Elaine B Jewelry

Elaine B Jewelry is a showroom and studio in Ferndale, Michigan inspired by the Earth and architecture. Creating modern, everyday jewelry that is minimal yet detail-driven, the brand was founded in 2010 in a small, light-filled studio in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia, Elaine B Jewelry found its footing at craft fairs and small boutiques; in 2017 the brand’s studio relocated to metro Detroit. Island Records / UMe’s The Vinyl Series

Since its beginnings in Jamaica in 1959, the story of the pioneering Island Records label has been inextricably linked to the story of its founder Chris Blackwell. Now, Blackwell has curated a series of compilation LPs featuring his hand-picked tracks that correspond with his and Island’s legendary history. In October, Island Records / UMe released the third volume of The Vinyl Series, an 18-track double LP compiling some of the label’s key releases of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Volume One included pivotal songs from 1962 to 1969, and Volume Two was released over the summer, covering the years 1969 to 1973. This volume of The Vinyl Series includes material which remained rooted in the folk and acoustic-based styles that were crucial to Island’s foundation, including Nick Drake, Sandy Denny and Cat Stevens.

In track-by-track essays by noted author and longtime Island Records chronicler Chris Salewicz, the album package features reminiscences that offer Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Blackwell’s own perspective. The third volume of The Vinyl Series — which also illustrates the label’s ventures into funk (The Meters), dub (Augustus Pablo) and blue-eyed soul (Robert Palmer) — rounds out the tale of Island’s visionary, eclectic path as it solidified its place as one of the most distinctive and bold labels in music history.

Inkbox

Last year, Southern California-based tattooer Dillon Forte announced that he has partnered with the Toronto-based Inkbox to release a collection of “For Now Ink” tattoos. That collection included 24 individually-sold tattoos designed exclusively by Forte that can be shipped worldwide and are easily applied at home. Inkbox takes 1-2 minutes to apply, develops over 24 hours and lasts 1-2 weeks on the skin.

Inkbox’s proprietary technology is made to have Forte’s tattoos look permanent but will safely and simply fade away as the skin naturally regenerates. The ingredients of the tattoos are made with skin-safe ingredients and the active compound is derived from fruit originating in South Africa, where it has been used for thousands of years in body ornamentation. Notably, Inkbox has also strategically-partnered with Post Malone, Adult Swim, Marc Bonin, Sleestak, Cartoon Network and Grace Neutral over the years.
