0IMPACT Wrestling’s Mickie James On “Hard To Kill,” Deonna Purrazzo, Music, Vegas & More
Keeping up 2021 strong, IMPACT Wrestling made headlines again with October 2021’s Bound For Glory. Next up pay-per-view events-wise for IMPACT is Hard To Kill on January 8, 2021, which will take place at The Factory in Deep Ellum, Texas. Meanwhile, IMPACT Wrestling itself — which airs on Thursday nights at 8:00 PM EST / 7:00 PM CST, as preceded by the Before The Impact program and followed by the IMPACT In 60 program — is regularly the highest-rated show on the AXS TV network.
IMPACT Knockouts Champion Mickie James is undeniably one of the most accomplished and decorated female wrestlers of the past two decades. She is a five-time WWE Women’s Champion and a two-time winner of Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s “Woman Wrestler Of The Year Award.” She also has been ranked No. 1 of the top 50 female wrestlers in the PWI Female 50. Wrestling aside, James is an accomplished country music singer, well-known for her single “Hardcore Country,” which is used as her wrestling entrance music. She is also an inductee into the Native American Music Awards Hall Of Fame and winner of the same institution’s “Best Single Recording” for her song “Left Right Left,” which she recorded with the Yin Yang Twins. Her latest single release is 2021’s “Grown Ass Woman.”
On December 8, 2021, I had the pleasure of speaking with Mickie James again via Zoom, as embedded below. More on James and IMPACT Wrestling can be found by clicking here, here, here and here.
