Warner Records’ Artist IV4 Drops New Single and Video ‘Only Fans’

Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and rapper IV4 unveiled the vulnerable, impassioned “Only Fans,” out now on The Wasted Youth/Warner Records. The single finds IV4 singing to a lover who’s the only object of her affection. “Only Fans”—which arrives alongside an intimate, yet enigmatic video—serves as the latest single for IV4’s upcoming project, Get Rich and Cry Trying, coming soon.

On “Only Fans,” IV4 lets her guard down. Her vocals swim over atmospheric production, sounding ethereal as she floats in and out of an airy falsetto. “Who knows you better?” she asks, revving up to an irresistibly amorous chorus: “Baby, it’s hard to focus when I touch you so right.” In the last minute of the song, IV4’s voice soars, blurred by reverb and intentional glitching. It breathes and swirls with ambient desire.

In the video, directed by Austin McCracken and produced by Blank Square Productions, IV4 walks down an empty road, her body concealed by a platinum blonde, waist-length wig. During another scene, IV4 appears three times over in the frame, clad in a black leather catsuit. In clips that feel like a private show, we see IV4 through a grainy filter that brims with yearning, echoing the overall themes of the song.

“Only Fans” continues a run of striking, seductive singles for IV4. In November she shared “Stroke,” which followed the hypnotic “Could Neva,” the hustler’s anthem “Work 2 Hard,” and the dreamy R&B of “Swimming,” featuring Trippie Redd, which has netted more than 1.2 million YouTube views. In 2018, IV4 began to amass a following after posting her first song—“Because of Me,” produced by Smash David and SkipOnDaBeat—on social media and earning thousands of views.

Since then, through music and fashion, IV4 has consistently evolved. She packs every track full of her thoughtful emotions, unmistakable sense of cool, and unforgettable imagery. “Only Fans” only adds new dimensions to her emotional sound, which gives all the more reason to be excited about the approach of Get Rich and Cry Trying. Stay tuned for more soon
