South Africa’s Malome Vector Drops Highly Touted Debut Album ‘KARABO’ Which Opened at Number One on iTunes

Born and bred in Lesotho but now located in Johannesburg, South Africa, Malome Vector has released his highly anticipated debut album, KARABO through Ambitiouz Entertainment.

‘Karabo’ means answered prayers, which is what this album is to Malome Vector. ‘Karabo’ follows five singles he released between the years 2020 and 2021. He is also known for the collaborations he has had with his stablemates, Miss Pru and Blaq Diamond. The album’s 18 tracks tell the story of the AFRIMA nominated artist’s life, particularly his daughter, after whom the album is titled and who also appears on the album cover.

“I’m so happy about the release of this album, it is going to change my whole life. The song that stands out for me is Dikeledi because it tells my whole story. It is based on true stories, and it’s all about my answered prayers, hence it is called Karabo,” says Malome Vector about the release.

Karabo which took about two years to be complete features an array of stars; stablemates, Blaq Diamond, Intaba Yase Dubai, and Wave Rhyder, BET award-winner Sjava, Ubuntu band as well as Ntate Stunna. The artists all suit the songs flawlessly, ranging from Hip Hip to Afro-pop while revealing Malome Vector’s true identity. The album debuted number one on iTunes.
