LA Rodriguez Makes Major Waves With His Latest Visual “Phone Line”

Charged up for a massive 2022, Brooklyn-native and director-turned-musician LA Rodriguez uncovers his new single and video “Phone Line.” The track’s dreamy production pairs bass echoes with ethereal snares as he rhymes with intent and intensity all at once. His dynamic flow culminates on an assurance, “You hitting my phone line.”

The accompanying music video is directed by Codie Monowi and produced by Gamal. The two-and-a-half-minute cut reflects the song’s emotional ebb and flow as we see LA Rodriguez in for a late-night. “Phone Line” is the South Carolina-based musician’s first song of the new year and arrives after a bit of hiatus. In 2020, he dropped his first full-length project titled Felt Like You which was followed by “Pick Up” and “Necklace” featuring Elle Greyy. “Phone Line” signals a new era for the rising musician as prepares a new album coming soon.
