Tara Perry On Her New Film “Ghosts Of The Ozarks,” Writing Plans, Future Projects & More
Tim Blake Nelson, David Arquette, Angela Bettis, Thomas Hobson, Phil Morris and Tara Perry star in the new film Ghosts Of The Ozarks, as due out to select theater, on-demand and digital outlets on February 3, 2022 via XYZ Films. This exciting new take on the southern ghost story takes places in post-Civil War Arkansas, as a young doctor is mysteriously summoned to a remote town in the Ozarks only to discover that the utopian paradise is filled with secrets and surrounded by a menacing, supernatural presence. Some folks dare to categorize the buzzed-about film as a “horror western.”
The aforementioned Tara Perry also co-wrote and produced Ghosts Of The Ozarks. Prior to this production, you may have seen her in The Fresh Beat Band, Edgar Allan Poe’s Murder Mystery Dinner Party and/or Wayward Guide. In other words, Perry not only cannot be pigeonholed to only working on television or film projects, but she also keeps busy as an actress, producer, writer and director.
