Too $hort & Lil Duval – Big Sexy Thang

Hip-hop icon Too $hort released his new single “Big Sexy Thang (feat Lil Duval),” which puts a modern-day twist on Hot Chocolate’s classic song “You Sexy Thing (I Believe In Miracles)” and appears on $hort’s upcoming new album.

The release of “Big Sexy Thang” is currently available to stream on all platforms via 3T Entertainment and EMPIRE HERE.

The announcement comes a day after $hort previewed the single on his acclaimed NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert that celebrated his longevity in the rap game for Black Music Month. The Bay Area legend – who is the only active hip-hop artist to have released an album in five different decades – performed a bevy of hits spanning the 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s and 20s, including “Big Sexy Thang,” “Blow The Whistle,” “The Ghetto” and several others.

Prior to dropping “Big Sexy Thang,” $hort released “Nasty Dance,” which he premiered in a virtual strip club thanks to a partnership with Kid Cudi’s interactive live music app Encore. The duo collaborated on a series of augmented reality, live performances called “Live from Too $hort’s Funhouse.”

$hort’s new album will coincide with the 35-year anniversary of his debut studio album (Born to Mack) that launched his career into stardom.
