Brother and Sister Rap Duo Rainey Dayz Announce Upcoming Single “Made In Norfolk”

Raymond Rainey (Bones) and Aimee Rainey (Purple Rain) are teaming up to pay homage to their hometown Norfolk, Virginia. Their rap styles are considered raw, heartfelt, passionate, and just DIFFERENT. Purple Rain states she and brother Bones have been doing music together since the early 90s. Together they are known as Rainey Dayz.

She also says, “Virginia and East Coast music helped mold my resilience and strength” I can’t do music without including the 757.”

Bones says he is here to support his big sister in any way. Bones has achieved a fanbase from his urban, raw cadence and sound. After being gone for 6 years, Purple is ready to collaborate with her brother. Made In Norfolk is set to be released by mid-April.
