Emoni Drops the Visuals for Hit Single ‘Pop My Sh*t’

Want to hear a crazy story of extreme highs and lows? Look no further than the story behind the new “Pop Shit” video by Atlanta artist Emoni. On the day of the shoot, Emoni pulled together a crew that included friends of 15+ years throwing a block party in the middle of the College Park projects.

The spirit of the video is one of community, collaboration, and celebration of the music that brings them together. Drinks are shared, the whole squad repping High End Music Group clothing, and enough good times to last a lifetime.

The very next day? Emoni got shot. This is not a drill, but a true story. Fortunately he made a full recovery and pushed through with the release of the “Pop Shit” video to exceptional results. It’s going to take more than a few bullets to slow him down.

Emoni chooses to find the positives in these situations stating that “everything happens for a reason I believe, and now that I’m back in a clearer state of mind with a stronger vision than ever, I felt this was the time to share this song with you all.”

Many artists claim that their work is a result of blood, sweat, and tears, but Emoni walked the walk when it comes down to it.

“Pop Shit” is the most recent in a string of videos that capture this master at his finest. “Bigger Dreams,” “Life,” “Amiri Jeans,” “We Gone Ball,” and “Dropping Salt” all contribute to his over 500k cumulative views on YouTube and 200,000 streams on Spotify.
