boohooMAN Launches Edit With Afro-Rave Artist Rema

Recently, boohooMAN launched their latest edit with Nigerian singer, Rema.

The 22-year-old has been a pivotal influence on Afropop music across the globe, collaborating with artists such as AJ Tracey, 6LACK, Chris Brown, FKA Twigs, and more. With accolades under his belt including his single ‘Calm Down’ ranking number 1 in his home country, reaching 16 million views on TikTok, and the recent release of his Rave & Rose’s album hitting number 1 in 12 countries, Rema continues to grow as an artist and connect with his global fan base making him the perfect fit for the brand.

Consisting of 10 looks, the collection mixes the artist’s bold personality and love of fashion with quirky graphics and boohooMAN streetwear aesthetic. Matching sets and oversized fits take center stage, while the star item of the range is his PU teddy bear applique bomber jacket, a key design detail close to Rema’s heart.

Shot in the heart of Rema’s hometown, Nigeria, the campaign imagery play’s on psychedelic graphics and the use of catchy slogans, significant to his most recent album release. Brash prints, and one-liners such as ‘another banger’, are incorporated into the designs to reference the artist’s signature tag at the beginning of every song.

With price points ranging from £12-£65, the collection became available from boohooMAN.com and boohoo.com on Wednesday 1st June.
