Billy Porter On Upcoming Projects Beyond His Directorial Debut, The New Film “Anything’s Possible”

Last week, multi-hyphenate creative, activist and LGBTQIA+ icon Billy Porter hosted a Reddit Talk through its “r/lgbt” subreddit. With that talk, he discussed his directorial debut via Anything’s Possible, a coming of age film that follows the story of a transgender girl as she navigates high school and her first love. The filmmakers were inspired by an advice-seeking Reddit post when developing this film.

Joining Billy Porter — a GRAMMY, Tony and Emmy Winner — for this Reddit Talk was the star of Anything’s Possible, trans artist Eva Reign. Porter and Reign took to Reddit to discuss their creative process as well as the importance of queer and POC representation both in films as well as the actors, directors and crews that make them. Within that Reddit Talk was a question submitted by yours truly about Porter’s upcoming career plans, and audio of that Q&A is embedded below via YouTube.
