Meet Social Media Entrepreneur AJ Cartas

“It is time to explore more in the tech world to create businesses that make an impact,” says AJ Cartas.

This social media entrepreneur is the mastermind behind an innovative software in the Creator Economy world, “Divinfluence,” which acts as a discovery tool for matching underrepresented Creators with brands.

Today, it’s challenging to succeed in one’s chosen industry, let alone become a significant player, especially in the social media world. Making the right decisions in one’s career and achieving success takes grit and guts. But an up-and-coming social media entrepreneur in the Creator Economy world named AJ Cartas has found that passion and love for what you do, combined with determination and a positive mental attitude, will take you far—just like it did for him.

In a recent interview, he spoke of the many tech advancements that have been made and how entrepreneurs across industries are looking for new ways to leverage those technologies and adopt new trends to better their businesses. Hence, he emphasizes that it is time to explore more in the tech world to create more impactful companies and change how brands see Creators. There is a reason he is known as a Creator veteran, disrupting the Creator Economy.

As the founder and CEO at Syzygy Social, his minority-led social media agency, he has already taken massive steps ahead in the social media world and is helping trailblaze purpose-driven brands. Now, with his latest venture Divinfluence, he offers a discovery tool for bringing together underrepresented creators with brands. As a first-generation immigrant from the Philippines who is also part of the LGBTQ+ community,  he is hoping to spotlight underrepresented and underestimated Creators.

So far, as an entrepreneur, he has done social media for several billion-dollar companies, consulted in US Senate and Congressional campaigns, advised numerous celebrities on social media, and even got featured in several top publications. In addition, his work also has over 500 million views online.

He highlights how he saw a common diversity gap as a Creator veteran, which is why he launched Divinfluence, through which he and his team have built a diverse talent database with Creators coming from all backgrounds. Through this discovery tool, they help brands find, recruit, and then manage the most relevant Creators for their marketing campaigns.

Cartas now looks forward to adopting many new ways to disrupt the Creator Economy with diversity in mind, innovate more in his ventures, and open new doors into the industry through impactful partnerships and collaborations.
