We’ve recently had a chance to check in with the talented and strong-willed musician YPGHaji, to talk about his upbringing, his inspirations, and aspirations; His accomplishments, and what he hopes to accomplish in the near future.
Let’s take a dive into the mind of YPGHaji.
Born in Hoboken, New Jersey. The musician has always been infatuated with artistry since a young age.
Asking Haji what are some of his inspirations for his music, this is what he had to say;
“Making a new sound. Contemporary sound healing, cultivating, and changing the sound of what people are used to.”
Anyone can see that YPGHaji is not just an artist, but also a visionary. He has set out to push the boundaries of artistry and try to develop a new sound to cultivate his audience.
We also had a chance to ask Haji to describe his music in 3 words, and this was his response: Refreshing, transparent, and genuine.
We all know that being an independent artist sometimes has its ups and downs and can be a challenge at most points of a musician’s career. A challenge that YPGHaji faces is being noticed. He feels as if the industry today is a popularity contest. But, Haji has also stated that he will not submit to the conformity of the music industry and does not care if he becomes an A-List celebrity as long as he is able to share his heart and soul with the public.
Accomplishments are something anyone in every career path looks forward to. YPGHaji is no stranger to this term. From winning first place in a singing contest to having a support system that could help him flourish and achieve his goals and to be published in articles. Haji looks forward to checking off his achievements list more often during his career.
With his genuine sound, beautiful voice, and his stand out for greatness YPGHaji is for sure the next up and coming artist to look out for.
