GODSPEED is Here to Take Over!
Phillip Speed, known by his stage name GODSPEED, is an up-and-coming artist who has been making waves in the music industry since he first started making music a year ago. Despite being relatively new to the scene, he’s already released an EP, “Welcome to my Hell,” and a solo album, “ON MY OWN,” which he produced, mixed, and performed by himself.
When asked about his biggest inspirations, he listed Dro Kenji, Juice WRLD, and various rock bands, indicating that he draws inspiration from a wide range of musical genres. He also revealed that he likes to dabble in different genres, ranging from rock to house music, but mainly prefers to make emo rap.
When asked about his name, he revealed that it was a double entendre inspired by his last name, Speed. Growing up in a Christian household where he went to church every Sunday, he felt that GODSPEED would be an appropriate name as it means to wish someone good fortune. However, he also mentioned that he has a big ego and likes to joke around with his friends, which led to him calling himself GODSPEED.
