John Gallen releases new single “Enemy” from his chart-topping album 1970s

John Gallen, the acclaimed musician and peace activist, has released a new single “Enemy” from his highly successful album 1970s. The album has achieved the No.1 Independent and No.5 Official Ireland chart position, and “Enemy” is set to continue this success.

The inspiration behind “Enemy” comes from John’s work representing the four warring governments of Libya at the United Nations and the EU. During his mission to get sanctions lifted for humanitarian aid, John had an uncomfortable encounter with a Libyan Warlord. This song is his take on the experience, and it’s a powerful and emotive piece of music.

“Enemy” is just one of the standout tracks of the 1970s, which is a tribute to the music of that decade. John has put his own spin on some of the greatest hits from that era, including “Stuck in the Middle With You” and “Sweet Caroline.” The album has been praised for its fresh take on classic songs and the energy and passion that John brings to each track.
