Sense100p Takes Us from Navy to “Hell N Back” with Debut LP
Sense100p, the Portland-born artist, has been making waves in the music industry ever since leaving the Navy and diving headfirst into the rap game. As a former Deck Seamen who worked on an aircraft carrier and was a helmsman, Lee helmsmen of the ship, Sense100p has been able to draw from his experiences to create music that takes listeners on a journey.
His debut LP, “Hell N Back,” is a 13-track masterpiece that showcases Sense100p’s versatility as an artist. The album features UDBrecords artists J time, Soul Real, Lil Gotenks, and Aye Wal, who is on every track except one song. Their voices and styles complement each other, making it just as much Aye Wal’s album as it is Sense100p’s.
The album is a rollercoaster ride through Sense100p’s emotions and experiences, taking us from the depths of hell to the light at the end of the tunnel. It has a mix of melodic, dark, and trap music that will keep listeners engaged. One track that particularly stood out was “Cutthroat,” which is inspired by Mac Dre. The album is not without its imperfections, but sonically, the overall sound of the album is there.
Sense100p has been keeping busy with multiple solo artist albums, UDBrecords Volume 1 artist collab LP, and the release of his single “Fuck With Us” Ft Aye Wal. He has also shot over 100 videos as a videographer before becoming a rapper.
