Leon Bridges Performs at The Marquis Park City for Chase Sapphire
Chase Sapphire hosted a star-studded lineup of celebs – including Pedro Pascal, Dominique Thorne, Normani, Too $hort, Jack Champion, and more – as part of the Freaky Tales cast party at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. The event, which took place at Chase Sapphire on Main, included the cast, director and producers of the film celebrating their work.
Freaky Tales, set in 1987 Oakland, tells the story of a mysterious force that guides The Town’s underdogs in four interconnected tales: Teen punks defend their turf against Nazi skinheads, a rap duo battles for hip-hop immortality, a weary henchman gets a shot at redemption, and an NBA All-Star settles the score. Basically, just another day in the Bay.
The film was produced by Ryan Fleck, Anna Boden, Poppy Hanks, Jelani Johnson and Executive Produced by Jillian Share, Jen Gorton, Charles King, James Lopez, Justin Bursch, Vic Moyers, Todd Anthony Shaw, David Weintraub
Also during night one of Sundance, Chase brought out Leon Bridges to set the stage ablaze, performing for a special Sapphire Presents event for Chase cardmembers at The Marquis Park City—part of the many exclusive events available to Chase cardmembers throughout this year’s Sundance Film Festival.
