Star2 Reveals the Dark Side of Fame on New Single “Clout Chaser”

Star2 is an Asian-American rapper and pop artist preparing for the release of his upcoming album Shooting Stars. His new single “Clout Chaser” is the fourth track from his forthcoming project written about people using Star2 based on ulterior motives. Paired with an undeniably catchy beat and lyrics that snap like a rubber band, “Clout Chaser” is Star2’s moment to set the record straight.

“Clout Chaser” is filled to the brim with rolling beats, climactic strings, and voracious vocals that devour the track. Star2 sings, “She a little, little, little, clout chaser / She a little, little, gold digger / She don’t love me, she just love my money.” The animated video by Lubomir Atan for “Clout Chaser” strings together visuals of dystopian gold figures, sports cars, and bars of gold in the backdrop of a battle between two women for Star2’s possessions. “Clout Chaser” brings the unspoken truths of fame to light as Star2 delivers with a powerful performance.

Star2 has worked with artists among the likes of Soulja Boy, $tupid Young, Mozzy, MBNel, Luh Kel, Lil Poppa, HoodTrophy Bino, YSN Flow, and MarMar Oso to name a few. His upcoming album Shooting Stars is set for release in March of 2024.
