Introducing Keem Shaka

Introducing Keem Shaka.

A Harlem-bred artist who continues to make noise with each release. With his New York roots that then extended to the entire Tri-State area, Keem Shaka’s musical journey encompasses a diverse range of influences also drawn from experiences across the South and West Coast. This amalgamation of backgrounds gives rise to a unique sound and visual identity that enthralls his listeners. Infused with gritty lyrics, a raspy vocal delivery, and a confident swagger reminiscent of New York, his music also incorporates southern beats and infectious choruses, making Keem a stand-out star.

Keem’s debut single “Cartier” would arrive in 2021, followed by “Long Gone,” which both did relatively well, establishing Keem as a promising new act. In 2022, he would deliver “Ca$h Tales,” whose video garnered over 300k views, proving Keem as an artist quickly on the rise. It wasn’t until last year November, that Keem would show he’s in fact on pace to become a household name.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Released in November 2023, “Are You Kidding Me?” propelled Keem Shaka to a new level in his career. It was his first single to reach hundreds of thousands of streams on multiple platforms including the official lyric video on YouTube, which now stands at over 600k views.

5 STAR!

Following the success of “Are You Kidding Me?”, Keem Shaka has now followed up with a “5 Star” record. In less than just a month since its release, “5 Star” is already on the heels of its predecessor to become Keem’s highest streaming single, amassing over 200k streams on Spotify alone.

In describing the inspiration behind “5 Star,” Keem shares, “Women make the world go ’round. A bad one is going to help you get to exactly where you want to go and get whatever she wants.. so I need the baddest one. A 5 star only!”

The highly anticipated visual is set to arrive soon as well, so stay tuned. Until then, be sure to run up the official audio on your preferred DSP.
