Pittsburgh rapper Hardo releases his highly-anticipated album The Fame or Feds Story via Trap Illustrated. The 13 track album features previously released tracks “Smile” as well as “Fame or Feds” and has features from the late Jimmy Wopo, Kizzl, Mayhem Mal, FTR Drama, Stevie B, Rexx Life Raj, Latia, and Deezlee. The album is available on all digital service providers today. Click here to listen.

To coincide with this announcement, Hardo releases today the video for “Fame or Feds.” The CatchRed Media-directed video follows Hardo around his hometown of Pittsburgh and is available today.Click here to watch.

“The Fame or Feds Story is a true revelation. My first mixtape was called Fame or Feds, which was released in 2011, so this street album is a follow up to that. It’s is a real story you can grasp the truth from a young street hustler detailing the highs and lows, from beginning to end. I hope everyone enjoys it,” says rapper Hardo on his album.

The rapper, who toured with Tee Grizzley late last year and most recently just wrapped a US tour with Wiz Khalifa, previously released critically acclaimed “Today’s A Good Day” feat, Wiz Khalifaand Jimmy Wopo, which received over 8 million streams on Spotify alone and over 1.2 million views on YouTube. He has received coverage from XXL, Vibe, Mass Appeal and more.

Hardo isn’t supposed to be standing in the upright position he holds today. He’s lived and survived enough gangster non-fiction to make a cinematic trilogy. After being released from prison in October 2012, Hardo began his transition from the crime life to the rhyme life. In January of 2013, he dropped his first underground hit, “Stressin,” (over 1 million views on YouTube) a hauntingly addictive track that highlights both the author’s commanding voice and the terrible that comes with earning five star street cred. By mid-2013, Hardo’s name rang as loud in rap’s underground as it did in the underworld. ATL legend T.I. even shouted him out on his Young Thug-assisted hit “Ain’t About The Money.”

With two recorded albums featuring rappers like Meek Mill, 21 Savage and Dave East and new music, Hardo is ready to give rap fans two truths 1) an illegal lifestyle offers more loss than floss, and 2) his hometown raises a different breed of hustler. Stay tuned for more announcements.
