EDM duo Datgirl & Zapper release ‘Bump In The Trump’ Video

Electronic music DJ, producer and rapper DATGIRL (@DATGirlserene) and Bay Area machine-smashing ZAPPER (@ZapperLive) teamed up for ‘Bump In the Trump‘ a video, yes, you guessed it, clowning Donald Trump. The satirical video is a pre-release for their next video, “Bang Bang, Bitches!” a timely indictment of America’s violent culture. “Bang Bang Bitches” will also off the duo’s forthcoming LP, Heroes of a Thousand Dancefloors.”

Datgirl released her debut LP,  Slutstep in 2012. Her lyrical mystique and zany wiles have made her a controversial voice with a distinct cult following. She has a background in performing arts, screenwriting and improvisational theater, studying at NYU, the Actors Conservatory Theater, Lee Strasberg Institute, the Groundlings, and the Upright Citizens Brigade.

Specializing in live production and performance-oriented sets, ZAPPER has been giving dance floors an original 100% live hardware experience, with on-the-spot nasty sound design, bass-heavy frequency knob tweaking with a focus on the laptop-free crowd since 2005. When he isn’t producing music and touring with his partner DATGIRL, ZAPPER returns to his Nor Cal renegade party-throwing roots, producing events throughout the west coast and as an organizer of several large scale stages at Burning Man Festival.
