Who is Remy Martin? Founder of Remy Martin Studios
“A dream is just a dream if there’s no actions behind it”
Remy Martin Studio’s aims to fulfill every woman’s hair expectations by providing the highest quality Peruvian virgin hair. All of the hair extensions come in natural colors that can be manipulated and dyed to any desired color at affordable prices. With the proper maintenance, the hair will last two to three years, which makes it even more worth the investment. Remy Martin Studio’s offers three different styles such as Peruvian Exotic Curly, Peruvian Straight, and Peruvian Body Wave. The company also carries two different types of closures such as lace and silk base. Remy Martin Studios takes pride in selectively picking the best treatments for the extensions before releasing the finished product to their valued customers.
The founder of Remy Martin Studios Brittany Cooper explained how the name came about. “I sold nothing but Remy hair and Bobbi Boss Remi was my favorite after being instructed to that quality of hair, so the owners started calling me Remy. Then the customers started calling me Remy so it stuck. Martin came later after I started my Facebook page and it required a last name, so for some reason Martin just came to mind.”
Cooper relocated to Atlanta with her two children to venture out and boost her business and her sales. She also wanted a fresh start since her landlord informed her that she had 60 days to move out of her condo. While she was still new in Atlanta, she placed her business cards car windows as they went into stores and she handed out her business cards. To further build her business, she joined many groups on Facebook for networking. Cooper said, “I basically was born with a hustle and I pushed that. I hate working for people so I always knew I had to make money on my own.” After losing her father and being raised by a single mother, she attended Kenneth Shuler Cosmetology and completed her 1500 hours while in school full time. She stopped working for the hair store and dedicated everything to school. She did hair from her home on the side and once she completed school, she opened a salon.
