Rising R&B songstress and Billboard R&B Top 20 recording artist Annalé is gearing up to release two singles simultaneously, “Back of My Hand” featuring Mint Condition front-man Stokley Williams, and another single titled “Potential” on October 20. The songs will be available on all digital retailers and streaming partners including Apple Music, Google Play, Spotify, and Tidal.  Annalé is gearing up for a promo run in the Fall and Winter and is available for interviews, features and performance booking.

Annalé’s debut single “Roses” gained a notable buzz on Billboard’s R&B chart, with a peak position at #19 for a total of 20 weeks. VOGUE Magazine called the single one of 2016’s “finest R&B Ballads.” In addition to being played in multiple radio stations across the U.S. and iHeartRadio, she has been featured on numerous music blogs, magazines and websites such as Marie Claire, Vogue, BET and AXS. Annalé has also crossed 1 Million Streams on Spotify.

Annalé is a NY native raised in South Korea and New Jersey. Influenced by her classical musician parents, she began playing piano at the age of 4 and discovered her talent and passion for singing contemporary music in middle school. Annalé graduated Berklee College of Music after being selected as one of seven Presidential Scholars receiving a full 5-year scholarship to the prestigious school.

The songstress is currently promoting her follow up single “Showtime”, co-produced by Stokley Williams and gearing up for her debut album release in the fall/winter of 2017.

The Hype Magazine got the highly lauded songstress to weigh in on a few things

Tell us about your current project(s)

I will be releasing two singles on October 20th!  One of them features Stokley from Mint Condition which I’m very excited about. There will also be dope music videos and lyric videos in the making that will accompany the singles so be on the look out for that!

Do you feel your current project is the best introduction to you as an artist?

Yes, definitely!  It will be more than just an introduction though. I released my debut single “Roses” last year and that was officially my introduction as an artist but I believe that the upcoming singles will push me forward as an artist and expand my brand.

What makes music so important to you?

It might sound cliche but music shaped who I am and I can’t imagine doing anything else.  I grew up in a musical family and was constantly surrounded by it. Music also gives me an opportunity to connect with people, expressing who I am to my fans and what I care about so they can relate and enjoy my songs. I want to make a positive impact on my fans and anyone who crosses paths with me using the platform that music has given me as an artist.

What’s on your horizon to finish 2017 and make 2018 amazing?

After releasing my two singles in October, I will be joining Stokley during his tour on the west coast!  My album release will definitely be the highlight of 2018 though.

The Hype Magazine wants to know: What’s been your CRAZIEST “Where they do that at?! Or “WTF?!” moment thus far in your career?

An amazing moment was meeting Lalah Hathaway for the 2nd time at the 2017 Essence Black Women in the Music event. The first time I met her was when I was a student at Berklee College of Music and she came into my R&B Vocal class as a surprise for us to have a chance to sing in front of her and hear her critique, which was crazy because she is one of my biggest inspirations. When I met her for the 2nd time at the event, she remembered me from our first encounter and it was an amazing feeling to meet her as a fellow artist.
