“Caramel” stands out as a sticky, fun, and sexy anthem highlighted by Roger Troutman-style talkbox transmissions and a hummable slow-drip beat. Over this seductive backdrop, Lloyd’s signature falsetto instantly captivates while he belts out the strikingly soulful hook. It’s another unshakable anthem from this powerhouse performer.

Paving the way for more new music, “Caramel” precedes the release of his anxiously awaited forthcoming fifth full-length, TRU—arriving in stores and online August 31 via Young Goldie Music/EMPIRE. Pre-order it HERE and receive an instant grat download of “Caramel.

Just this past weekend, Lloyd delivered a jaw-dropping performance at Essence Fest. It upholds his reputation as a powerful presence on stage. On Saturday, EMPIRE presented Lloyd’s NOLA “Homecoming” fan meet & greet sponsored by Miller High Life and Jack Daniels.
