WEtv hosted a holiday event celebrating the return of their hit reality series âGrowing Up Hip Hop.â Cast members Romeo Miller, Angela Simmons, Vanessa Simmons, and Jojo Simmons were in attendance, joining a room packed with guests, media, and influencers.
Guests were treated to a memorable and lively evening, enjoying hors dâoeuvres, cocktails and the music of DJ Questlove, of the legendary hip-hop band The Roots, who kept the party turned up with a high-energy set that had everyone dancing. Celebrities and influencers in attendance included: BETâs âHustle In Brooklynâ cast members Santos, Baggy, Eva and Darnell, Bravoâs âFirst Family of Hip Hopâ cast member Lea Robinson, and âMarriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Editionâ cast member, Dr. Ish.
âGrowing Up Hip Hopâ originally premiered in 2016 and chronicles the lives of the children of hip-hop legends Master P, Rev Run, James DeBarge, Damon Dash, Pepa, and Treach. The success of the show, since its debut, led to the extension of the franchise with the creation of âGrowing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta.â
âGrowing Up Hip Hopâ returns on January 10, 2019.
