Are you planning on being in Minneapolis to cover the Final Four this year?
LM: That would be a dream job. Itās the first time in history that my alma mater, Auburn, has reached the Final Four. I covered Auburn football when they played in the NationalĀ Championship against Oregon in 2011 and was fortunate enough to do the sit-down interviews with the players. This would be another amazing future opportunity.
Ā
If not will you be in attendance as a fan?
LM: I donāt think anyone saw this coming. Only 0.5% of ESPN brackets had Auburn and Texas Tech in the Final Four. I had them in the Elite Eight. Sadly, I have a prior obligation in LosĀ Angeles, but I will be watching and rooting them on from California.Ā Ā
Ā
What was going through your mind during the final minutes against both the UNC and UK?
LM: āDonāt pass out, Lindsay. Itās only a game.ā The UNC game wasnāt as close. But after Chuma Okeke devastatingly left the floor, I had some doubts. The Kentucky game I knew wouldĀ be a tough one. They had beaten Auburn twice during the season (with Okeke playing) and couldnāt figure out a solution for PJ Washington, so I was prepared for the worst. But the teamĀ rallied after the half to put together one of the greatest games in Auburn basketball history. It gave me chills and heart palpitations. These recent March Madness games have beenĀ nothing short of spectacular.Ā Ā
Ā
If you had to pick a final score against the Cavaliers on Saturday what would it be and why?
LM: Itās very tough to pick against Auburn after watching their historic run against perennial powerhouses Kansas, UNC, and Kentucky. So with that said Iām picking them to win by three.Ā I like this matchup for Auburn as well. Virginia plays a slower game and tries to get the ball to their low post guys. Auburn loves a fast-paced game. As long as the Tigers can speedĀ things up and force turnovers, the game will be in their favor.
Ā
What are some of the things that we could look forward to in business from you heading into the rest of the year?
LM: We are getting closer to the official launch of āBig Shot,ā and ePlay Digital has been working hard on putting the final touches on the game. Also, we start filming Season 4 ofĀ Elevator Pitch at the end of the month, and I canāt wait to see what innovative ideas entrepreneurs will come up with next. I leave set each day completely inspired.Ā Ā Ā Ā

Ā
Where do you think the Rockets will finish this season?
LM: I think itāll be a hard-fought conference battle for the West, but ultimately I donāt see anyone beating Golden State.
Who do you have as your MVP between James Harden & Giannis Antetokounmpo?
LM: James Harden. As fantastic as Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have been, you canāt ignore the historic scoring output of Harden. This is true Michael Jordan level offense.Ā
Ā
Rookie of the year: Luka Doncic or Trae Young?
LM: While Young has come on particularly strong the last few weeks, I think the triple-double machine that is Luka Doncic should win.
