Alexander Lewis – Win The War
Alexander Lewis has today dropped a new single – Win The War feat. B Anderson – the 1st release from his forthcoming project, the Red EP. As it can be insinuated from Win the War, Lewis is shifting gears on the Red EP to a more hip-hop oriented approach, a departure from the dance-rap hybrid tracks on his previous project, the Omni EP.
The LA-based producer elevates the generic hip-hop sound with the implementation of his trombone into his beats, which is on full display on Win The War. Lewis tapped Dallas-based rapper B Anderson for vocals and he recruited an 8-piece band to record the instrumental. The result is a triumphant, celebratory record that’s well suited for the summer ahead. Lewis teased the recording process on social media prior to the full release of the song.
Lewis recently produced Juice WRLD’s hit record Big and has also produced for artists like The Underachievers, YBN Cordae, Earthgang, Normani, Juicy J, Rita Ora, MadeinTYO, AlunaGeorge, among others.
