Dallas Wings Waive Gustafson and Burke

ARLINGTON, TX – The Dallas Wings have waived forward Megan Gustafson and guard Kennedy Burke, the team announced today. The Wings also moved Moriah Jefferson to the temporarily suspended list.

Gustafson, a four-year starter from Iowa, was the No. 17 overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft. Through the preseason, she averaged 2.6 points and 3.0 rebounds a game.

Burke, the 22nd overall pick in this year’s draft out of UCLA, appeared in three preseason contests with the Wings.

Dallas opens the 2019 season Friday, May 24 on the road against the Atlanta Dream at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game can be viewed on WNBA League Pass.

The Dallas Wings are entering its fourth season in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Playing games at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, the Wings are coming off back-to-back playoff appearances and look to push further during the 2019 season with Head Coach Brian Agler at the helm.
