US production duo Room8 unveil new track ‘West’ ft. Mavrick

After debuting themselves back in 2014 with their debut EP ‘Visions Of You’, the pair have caused quite the storm within the electronic music scene. With recent collaborations under their belt with Little Boots, The Sound Of Arrows, Morgxn and Electric Youth, the band are heading for bigger things and it seems like nothing will stop them reaching the top.

Taking influence from the synth-heavy sound of the 80’s, ‘West’ looks to cement the producers as leading figures in progressive electronica. Talking to us about their latest release, the duo said“ ‘West’ is a song that we wrote about peace of mind and escape from things that don’t make sense for us. Like all the songs on Transduction, no computer instruments or plugins were used in the making of this song. It was produced using real synths and old hardware reverbs, eqs, and compressors.”
