NJOMZA Performs at First Stop Of The Live at Aloft Hotels Homecoming Tour With Aloft Hotels and Universal Music Group

Singer-songwriter NJOMZA returned to her hometown of Chicago on August 23 to deliver her infectious ballads in a free live music performance for fans to kick off the Live at Aloft Hotels Homecoming Tour. Aloft Hotels, Marriott International’s brand for music lovers and music makers, and Universal Music Group & Brands (UMGB), the brand partnership division of Universal Music Group, have joined together for a special tour thanking the fans for helping to launch the careers of some of today’s most talked-about artists.

The singer and co-writer of Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” performed at the opening stop of the eight-city tour, which is bringing some of the hottest names in music back to their hometowns for intimate live performances. Hits included “Me & You” and “Lonely Nights” – all performed to an intimate group of fans at the W XYZ Bar. A special moment was dedicated to Mac Miller, where she sang “No One Is Spared.” Fans were also able to take photos in a throwback den – all inspired by NJOMZA’s childhood growing up in Chicago.

The global eight-stop Homecoming Tour will feature performances from additional UMG artists at Aloft’s newest and most notable hotels located in some of the best music cities around the world, including Troye Sivan at Aloft Perth (Sept. 15), Mala Rodriguez at Aloft Madrid Gran Via (Oct. 3), Dermot Kennedy at Aloft Dublin City (Nov. 20), and more.
