UK’s NXTGEN Release Afrobeats Inspired Pop Single “I Don’t Know How To Dance”

From The Voice UK, trio NXTGEN has released their newest single “I Don‘t Know How ToDance,” produced by their Grammy Award-winning mentor and Black Eyed Peas frontrunner will.i.am. “I Don‘t Know How To Dance” follows last month’s release “Rewind,” also produced by will, and released via iamMedia/eOne.

The bright and vibrant visual, featuring bouncy neon graphics, finds the trio in a warehouse and on a rooftop, surrounded by a plethora of beautiful dancers, teaching them the best classic and latest internationaldance crazes from the Cha Cha, Salsa and Moonwalk to the Gwara Gwara, Dab, Milly Rock, Shoot, and more.

Speaking on how the song came to be, NXTGEN (comprised of Cian Gleeson, Joel Healey and Sonny Hardman) shares, “When we were on The Voice UK the choreographers made a routine for our semi-finals performance. Well, we cannot dance to save our lives, and we proved that in rehearsals every time. So, when we were in the studio with will, we thought a funny idea would be to write a song about not being able to dance — but, have it over a dance type production! Oh, the irony.”
