Chef Stephen Bulgarelli On How Applebee’s Honors U.S. Military Veterans For Veteran’s Day

Since 2008, Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar has served 9.8 million free meals to veterans and active duty military personnel on Veteran’s Day. This Veterans Day — as taking place on Monday, November 11, 2019 — the industry-leading brand continues in its mission to serve those who have served, providing all United States veterans and active duty military a chance to enjoy a complimentary meal from an exclusive Applebee’s menu created just for them.

Stephen Bulgarelli, Chief Culinary Officer for Applebee’s, is the brand’s culinary leader. He is dedicated to serving guests at more than 1,700 restaurants. Bulgarelli is stewarding the innovation of Applebee’s craveable menu that pairs quality food with the brand’s genuine, neighborly service. Bulgarelli began his career in the culinary industry first as a graduate of the Culinary Institute Of America in Hyde Park, New York, where he developed a keen understanding of appealing to guests.

I spoke with Chef Stephen Bulgarelli on November 7, 2019 and embedded below are the video highlights from that interview. More on Bulgarelli can be found online at www.applebees.com.
