Experience Silicon Valley Luxury at The Clement Hotel

Named after its Founder, Clement Chen III, The Clement Hotel in Palo Alto is the epitome of executive luxury. Established next to Stanford University campus, the all-inclusive luxury hotel features 23 well-appointed guest suites, an open kitchen, round-the-clock concierge service and a picturesque rooftop pool area. Every detail is taken into account, from the heated bathroom floors to power bays in the cabanas.

It’s not unusual in Palo Alto to see hotels booked solid during the work week, as The Clement is nestled between business complexes for silicon valley corporations such as Facebook and Google. Welcomed by a glass of chilled champagne, the concierge provided a full tour of the building upon my arrival, starting with the living room fireplace and ending with my expansive 1-bedroom suite. I still can’t decide if my favorite perk was the self-cleaning Toto toilet with remote controlled bidet system, or the never-ending supply of snacks and chef-prepared dining.

The Clement hotel is an elegant display of thoughtfulness and care by hotelier Clement Chen III, exemplified by the hand-written note and personalized stationary I received. The star of the property is its staff, who evidently place a high value on the joy and relaxation of its guests. Every request is met with a generous smile and expedient customer service, which made me feel as though I’d been transported into the daily life-style of a multi-millionaire.

Undoubtedly, the highlights of my stay were feeling welcomed as if I were staying in my rich friend’s home and never having to touch my wallet after check in.
