Hotel Garuda Shares First Single From Debut EP

Following the release of his single “Head In The Trees” last year, Hotel Garuda returns with his new single “Mutual,” out now on Mom+Pop Music. “Mutual” is the lead single from Hotel Garuda’s highly-anticipated forthcoming debut EP.

While best known for his skills as a DJ, Hotel Garuda’s evolution from DJ/producer to singer/songwriter continues at a promising pace. He made his vocal debut with “Head In The Trees” and clearly has both the perfect tone to pair with his indie-leaning production style. “Mutual” continues the trend of reflective, vocal-driven songs from the LA-based artist, each providing a contextual look into what he’s been through in both his career and personal life to date. “Mutual is a song that describes a gap in communication, a distance between two people that is less physical than it is emotional,” he shares, “I thought it would be interesting to write about the feeling of wanting someone and being wanted by them, without any of the certainty of a monogamous relationship.”
