Hotel Garuda Displays Complete Skillset “Head In The Trees”

As few months ago, the public split (though amicable) with former bandmate Manila Killa left fans questioning where and how Hotel Garuda would evolve artistically. He’s shown his prolific dj’ing skills and flexed his production mettle on multiple occasions, but it remained to be seen whether manning the project solo would make or break him.

Well, with his newest single all the aforementioned concerns can rightfully be put to rest for good. “Head In The Trees” is fondly referred to as his “most personal song to date,” a work of art in which Hotel Garuda wrote, produced, AND sang for a first-time display of his wider skillset. “I wasn’t sure if people would take me seriously as an artist until I made something that was entirely mine,” he explains, calling it a “love song that marks an important change in my life that happened about two years ago.” We won’t go as far as to speculate on what that change was, but one thing is for certain: Hotel Garuda is here to stay.
