Lonr. Releases “Make the Most” featuring H.E.R. and announces new EP
Lonr. returns today with his first new song of 2020, the lush “Make the Most“ featuring H.E.R. It comes with an official music video, which can be viewed below. Along with the new song, today Lonr, has announced that his debut EP, Land of Nothing Real, is out April 24.
In between a tight groove and fluttering guitar, he delivers vulnerable verses before carrying an eternal pledge on the hook, “I wanna grow old with you, make the most with you, that’s the goal.” H.E.R. offers a sweetly soulful counterpoint punctuated by delicate emotion. Meanwhile, the visual depicts tender scenes of romance between Lonr. and a female companion. However, after of moments of bliss, the story takes a very intense and topical turn…
Lonr. says that “the idea behind ‘Make The Most’ was simply that we only have one life to live, so with whatever or whoever it is that you love, make sure you make it known…make sure you chase it, because tomorrow isn’t promised.”
