The LOX Announces Release Date For Album “Living Off Experience”

Hip Hop trio, The LOX announces their forthcoming album Living Off Xperience is scheduled for release on Friday, August 28. Featuring the albums singles “Loyalty & Love” and “Gave it To Em,” the album is available for pre-order on August 19.
Living Off Xperience features production from AraabMuzik, Scott Storch and Large Professor, as well as collab with DMX on the upcoming single “Bout Shit,” available August 19.
In addition to the new project, The LOX is set to launch their new limited-series podcast, ‘Living Off Xperience’ on Vevo on August 13 and will be featured on BET’s Ruff Ryders Chronicles, reminiscing on a time prevalent to their career, premiering tonight, August 12.
For over two decades The LOX, Sheek Louch, Jadakiss and Styles P, has continued to make music that represents a unique sound that solidifies their longevity in the rap game. Living Off Xperience showcases the group’s signature gritty sound with the unrivaled lyricism that gets right to the heart of the battles we continue to fight on. This new album will give music enthusiasts an inside look into their brotherhood, their growth from teenagers to men, and how they’ve stood the test of time together.
The trio worked their way up through the Bad Boy training camp, writing and rapping on hits by the likes of Puff Daddy, the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Mariah Carey before releasing their 1998 debut album, Money, Power & Respect, which topped Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and soared to No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. After a switch to the Ruff Ryders label, We Are the Streets followed in early 2000, debuting at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. In 2007 a set of early recordings was released as Before the L.O.X including the 2013 EP The Trinity, and the 2014 sequel, The Trinity: 2nd Sermon. In late 2016, almost two decades after the release of their sophomore effort, The LOX unveiled their third official LP, Filthy America…It’s Beautiful, on D-Block/Roc Nation.
