Toronto Artist Dejuan Releases “What Happened To The Love” Single

Hailing from the Scarborough section of Toronto, Dejuan just released a catchy summer single titled “What Happened To The Love.”  Starting to record music at the age of 13, Dejuan started to take music more serious in 2019, when he released his first single and has shown no signs of slowing down by releasing a weekly single in 2020.

Dejuan’s music is a reflection of his life, as he paints vivid pictures of his life experiences and reflects on his successes, along with his shortcomings along the way.  What makes this single so good is its relatability.  All in all, it stems from a hard break up Dejuan had with an ex.  When speaking on this single he said, “I took the pain from that relationship and turned it into art as a coping mechanism.”  In the current global climate, a statistic was released recently that stated due to COVID-19 divorces and break-ups are on the rise.

You can expect more amazing music from Dejuan this year, and possibly a full-length project or EP, as he will continue on with his weekly release strategy.  Also, expect a music video for “What Happened To The Love” to release soon!
