Nathy Peluso – “Sana Sana”

Nathy Peluso has given herself the reputation of a fearless artist with an explosive energy. The latin lyricist has released a new rap single “Sana Sana” from her upcoming debut album Calambre, out October 2nd. The track juxtaposes the traditional Spanish-lanugaage nursery rhyme of “Sana, sana, colita de rana, si no sana hoy, sanará mañana,” with a commentary on the state of the economy.

In a video directed by Nicotine, Peluso is faced with a shadowy threat that she takes on in the form of dance, featuring looks by fashion icons Roberto Cavalli, Prada, Jean Paul Gaultier, and more. “Sana Sana” comes as a follow up to the nostalgic R&B track “Buenos Aires,” a song of reminiscing. Both tracks are featured on Calambre, which has been highly anticipated throughout its two years of creation.
