0“Filthy” Tom Lawlor On The Return Of MLW To Television, The Von Erichs, Living In Vegas & More
Arguably the fastest-growing wrestling league today, Major League Wrestling — MLW, for short — is seen weekly via DAZN, fubo Sports Network and beIN SPORTS in the United States, in addition to television networks in over 20 countries abroad. Its TV series is MLW FUSION, which regularly includes the likes of “Filthy” Tom Lawlor, The Von Erichs (Ross & Marshall Von Erich), Jacob Fatu, Low Ki, Salina De La Renta, and Injustice (including Myron Reed). MLW is also the parent company of the leading provider of professional wrestling podcasts in the world, the MLW Radio Network.
The aforementioned former MLW World Heavyweight Champion “Filthy” Tom Lawlor joined the MLW ranks in 2017. He quickly emerged as one of the most respected and popular wrestlers in the league, eventually dethroning Low Ki to win his first World Heavyweight Championship at SuperFight. Prior to finding success within MLW, Lawlor won three national championships as a collegiate wrestling and turned heads in the MMA world. These days, he leads Team Filthy in MLW, which is currently feuding with Marshall and Ross Von Erich; last month, the Von Erichs spoke with yours truly for The Hype.
On October 7, 2020, I had the pleasure of interviewing “Filthy” Tom Lawlor via Zoom, as embedded below. More on Lawlor — who signed a long-term deal extension with MLW last year — can be found via www.mlw.com, www.instagram.com/majorleaguewrestling and www.twitter.com/MLW.
