0Fatt Sosa Unveils “Big Marvin Documentary”
Pulling back the curtain on his world, North Carolina R&B-hip-hop artist Fatt Sosa drops the “Big Marvin Documentary”.
He’s literally in the driver’s seat of this six-minute mini-doc as he takes viewers around his hometown, introduces his day-one homies, and details his come up through the struggle so far—which has now brought him to the doorstep of stardom. Much like his music, it pulls no punches, offering a raw and real look at the place he calls home, and the values that brought him here.
Fatt Sosa made waves this fall with his Big Marvin EP. Showing no signs of slowing down or stopping, it has already racked up 1 million-plus streams and garnered acclaim from HotNewHipHop, and more. The single “Pimpin’” [feat. Rick Ross] has posted up 626K Spotify streams, and counting.
“I named this project Big Marvin because back then, that was my childhood name. I was known for a lot of things, but none of them were good. This has been one of my biggest accomplishments and it means a lot to me. So I chose to call it BIG MARVIN.” – Fatt Sosa
The six-track Big Marvin synthesizes Sosa’s
“To be honest, I bring a unique style. I merge R&B to HIP HOP and in other words, I turn trap music to a soul sound, which I feel like I’m the best at. I hope when people are getting into the tracks I drop they can see the universe in my music.” – Fatt Sosa
