Blind City The Podcast Joins ABC 30 Late Night Lineup

Rising St. Louis podcast Blind City The Podcast hosted by Langford Cunningham has joined the late-night lineup for ABC 30, one of that region’s most celebrated network TV outlets. KDNL-TV, “ABC30,” is considered St. Louis’ leader in entertainment programming. The podcast will air every Sunday (check local listings), debuting September 5th, Labor Day Weekend.

Navigating the maze that is the internet age, Blind City The Podcast began as a regional audio-only platform. Host Langford Cunningham, his co-hosts, and his guests discuss hot-button topics such as education, sex trafficking, and gun violence, as well as local and national issues of interest. With the audio platform’s success, Cunningham decided to begin taping the episodes and made the transition to YouTube. The program would later catch the attention of international media powerhouse The Hype Magazine, who brought the podcast onto their streaming television platform, The Hype Magazine Network on ROKU. Following a successful run with Hype, St. Louis ABC network Affiliate KDNL then approached Cunningham to recruit the show for its late-night lineup.

Blind City The Podcast was born after creator Langford Cunningham lost his eyesight to glaucoma. Cunningham received a vision from God for Blind City. After more than 30 surgeries and falling into a depression, he says he had to lose his sight to find his vision. Through his experience, Langford has a growing passion for helping those in desperate situations find hope, hope in the Lord, and hope for a brighter future through a new vision.

He states, “Living a street life prior to losing my sight opened spiritual eyes that gave me the ability to see a greater need in others rather than myself. Don’t take life for granted.”

Blind City The Podcast and Redemption Academy, non-denominational faith-based 501(c)(3), were born out of that commission. The combined mission of these two entities is to stimulate the nation’s heart by offering hope in a world filled with turmoil. They are pumping truth and life into the veins of troubled young men and women throughout the world and giving the cause and effect of violence that clogs the arteries of this nation. Offering practical applications to shock the nation’s heart back into action, they help people see their vision, reach their goals, and promote being positive through the pain.

Notable guests of Blind City The Podcast include the current Mayor of St. Louis, Tishaura Jones, NFL Star Laurence Maroney, and celebrated rapper Murphy Lee, to name a few.
