Emerging Artist Maribased1 Releases New Single “XUICIDE (Do or Die)”

MariBased1 is a young up and coming music artist that’s making a lot of noise throughout the music scene. As an independent artist, MariBased1 is repping his own label, BJ & J Entertainment. He was born in Seattle, Washington and raised around music because his father, Mr. Benjamin made music. Growing up around music helped to motivate MariBased1 to start creating his own music. He was able to soak up a lot of game about music thanks to his dad and some of his favorite musicians. His upbringing taught him how to carve out his own lane when it comes to music. So he did just that by creating his own unique sound that he now calls “The Northern Flow”. And when a wave of new era music came rushing in, MariBased1 was able to stand out from the rest of the artists.

MariBased1 believes that as a music artist, you’re also a role model for your fans. Understanding that fans have a tendency to follow their favorite music artists and mimic some of their actions, he feels that it’s best to lead by example. When creating music, MariBased1 draws inspiration from his own experiences and things he saw growing up. Some of his musical influences include Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Temptations, Lil B The BaseGod, and Soulja Boy. And some of his favorite albums were Lil Wayne’s The Carter III, Ice Cube’s Laugh Now Cry Later, and Crafty’s The Introduction. With all of his different musical inspirations, it’s hard to type cast MariBased1 to just one genre of music. He’s made a variety of different songs that could easily satisfy just about any music fan’s ears.

During the quarantine he released his Mariotto2 album. The project featured his smash hit singles Mystery Girl, Bouncin’, Score’n, and Thee End. All of their music videos aired nationwide on BETjams and MTVjams, and Mystery Girl also peaked at #2 on the college radio charts. MariBased1 also just finished working on his sophomore album, 48Oz, which is expected to drop soon. He’s already released three singles off his highly anticipated upcoming album. His lead single 48 Ratchet feat. BeatKing accumulated over 1 millions on Facebook and reached #1 on college radio charts. His second single Love Me feat. Jwavy also peaked at #3 on the college radio charts. And now he just released his third single Xuicide [Do Or Die] with its visual treatment that’s set to air on BETjams.
