Rony is Not Your Average Artist

Nowadays the music industry seems so plain and repetitive. New sound is something difficult to find, or damn near impossible to find. Rony isn’t that case though, he brings a sound unlike any other. Ronaldo Rodriguez (born September 6, 1999), known professionally as Rony, is an American rapper from Portland, Oregon. He started making music in 2018 when he was enrolled at Portland Community College and later dropped out. He rose to fame with his June 2020 single “Diamonds On My Neck”. And later in 2020, he founded his own record label, RRR Records.

He crafts his own sound with real memories from his own experiences. The Portland artist has definitely seen trials and tribulations, which make him master his gift on levels not many can reach. Rony lists Kanye West’s ‘Graduation’, Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’, Nas ‘Life Is Good’ and Lil Wayne’s ‘The Carter III’ as his favorite rap albums of all time.
